Kezzy, a fast-rising rapper and songwriter, has captured the hearts of many with his unique sound and relatable lyrics. Born on December 17, 1995, into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Ugwu, Kezzy’s journey is a testament to resilience and talent.
Hailing from Umachi, Enugu-Ezike, in the Igbo Eze North local government area of Nsukka, Enugu State, Kezzy’s roots are deeply embedded in his music. He began his educational journey at Umachi Community Primary School and later completed his secondary education at CSS Uda, Enugu-Ezike.
In 2019, Kezzy faced significant financial challenges. These hardships inspired him to compose the song “Money No Dey,” featuring Japota. This track struck a chord with many, going viral and bringing Kezzy unexpected recognition.
